01
Background
Focus AV was engaged to deliver IPTV across a multi-level facility covering lounges, a gym and outdoor communal areas.
The brief was consistent access to television and streaming content throughout the building, with operation simple enough for everyday users. Each space had to feel part of the same building while still being controlled locally.

The challenge
The site mixed indoor and outdoor environments with very different demands.
- Lounges needed casual viewing plus the ability to share a screen.
- The gym needed reliable visual content with audio independent of everywhere else.
- The outdoor area needed equipment that would survive the conditions.
All of it had to work across multiple floors without becoming something the building's staff needed training to manage.

The solution
Focus AV built the system on Ikusi Flow, distributing live TV and media to Samsung displays throughout the building. Lounges and shared areas run set-top boxes behind the screens, giving access to IPTV channels alongside the usual streaming services.
Audio uses networked amplification, so content can play locally through ceiling and outdoor speakers or an area can stream background music independently of what is on screen.
Source equipment sits in a central rack with signal extended out to displays where needed, which keeps the install clean and puts the hardware in one serviceable place instead of scattered behind screens on every floor.
Display locations and set-top box placement were set out floor by floor so each area could be operated on its own without anyone needing to understand the system behind it.

The outcome
The building gets a consistent viewing experience on every floor while each space still works the way it needs to through the day. Occupants can watch live TV, stream something or just play music depending on where they are, using remotes and apps they already know rather than anything bespoke. The gym runs its own audio independently of the lounges, and the outdoor area holds up in the weather.
The result is a content platform rather than a TV distribution system, and the IPTV foundation scales — more screens or more areas can be added without reworking the infrastructure already in place.
