Newmont Australia engaged us to deliver a complete audio visual fitout for their Brisbane office. The project included a mix of large-format conference and town hall spaces, mid-sized meeting rooms, huddle rooms, and shared office areas. The goal was to provide staff with reliable, flexible, and easy-to-use technology that would support both in-person and hybrid collaboration.
The office design included modular and flexible furniture layouts, which created challenges for microphone placement, cable management, and connectivity. Maintaining consistent audio quality across different room sizes, while also managing speech privacy, was a key consideration. The client also required digital signage solutions to keep staff informed across multiple office areas.
We delivered a tailored AV solution across all spaces. Large rooms were equipped with Samsung LED displays, Cisco conferencing systems, Shure array microphones, Yamaha line-array speakers, and Q-Sys DSPs. Mid-sized and smaller rooms were fitted with Biamp EasyConnect systems for laptop integration and Crestron video distribution for flexible use. Digital signage displays were installed throughout the office, configured with managed content for internal communications. To ensure clarity and comfort, acoustic treatment and sound masking were applied across key areas.
The completed installation has provided Newmont with consistent, high-quality AV solutions across all meeting and collaboration spaces. Staff can connect quickly, communicate clearly, and make use of spaces that are flexible enough to support town halls, video conferences, and small group discussions alike. The addition of sound masking and acoustic treatment has improved both privacy and comfort in shared environments.
This project highlights the impact of well-designed AV solutions in supporting collaboration and communication across a modern workplace. By combining leading technology with acoustic design, we helped Newmont create an office environment that is functional, flexible, and future-focused.
