Welcome to Mineral Resources Park, and an exciting new world of game-day engagement experiences brought to you by Focus AV. As WAFL and AFLW fans know, West Coast has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to innovation in football technology. In collaboration with Focus AV they have taken their skills and applied them in a whole new way with the introduction of LED screens and an iPad scoring system at Mineral Resources Park! Up-to-the-minute match information, stats and highlights on the big screen throughout games days adds another element into cheering for your favourite WAFL team.
Imposing and vibrant, the massive 9 x 5 metre viewing area towers 8.5 metres above the ground for a captivating viewing experience. To ensure an optimal audience engagement, it has been fitted with Vuepix’s MV Series high-brightness (8000nit) outdoor panels with 7.8mm pixel pitch – a combination ready to bring any content alive no matter where the sun is.
The LED scoreboard was constructed with the experienced hands of Focus AV and a local metal fabrication contractor. Combined, we crafted it all – from planning out its foundations to seamlessly controlling visuals through an exclusive iPad control system.
West Coast Eagles’ IT staff and key users have received in-depth training on the system, with ongoing assistance from Focus AV to tailor the control interface for any additional requirements. This ensures each user is able to get full use of this powerful technology over its entire lifespan.
