RAAFA engaged FocusAV to modernise several key meeting, training, and practical spaces across their facility. Each room had a unique purpose and required thoughtful AV integration that aligned with RAAFA’s commitment to delivering high quality experiences for staff, visitors, and training participants. The project scope included the EV Nichols Room, the Training Centre, a Practical Room, and Meeting Room 3.
Each space presented different functional requirements and installation constraints. The EV Nichols Room required seamless integration of client supplied equipment while accommodating future changes to furniture. The Training Centre needed a large format display and reliable Microsoft Teams Room hardware that could be serviced easily. The Practical Room required simple user friendly connectivity, while Meeting Room 3 involved delivering a clean cabling solution despite limited floor access.
FocusAV delivered tailored AV systems for each room.
In the EV Nichols Room, we installed an 82 inch display along with the client supplied Rally Bar and Tap, complemented by FocusAV supplied microphone pods and a Logitech extend kit for BYOD connectivity.
The Training Centre received a 98 inch display mounted as per elevation, with Logitech MTR hardware installed on pull out drawers for straightforward servicing. Microphones, a Logitech Tap, six distributed speakers, and a Rally Camera completed the setup.
In the Practical Room, an 85 inch display was installed with a convenient wall mounted HDMI connection for quick content sharing.
Meeting Room 3 was equipped with a 55 inch display, Rally Bar Mini, Tap, microphone, and extend kit, with cabling neatly managed through a floor track and table umbilical for a tidy finish.
The upgraded rooms now offer reliable and consistent AV performance tailored to each space’s purpose. Users benefit from clearer communication, improved meeting flow, and intuitive technology that supports both in person and hybrid collaboration. The Training Centre, in particular, now provides a more engaging environment for learning, supported by professional grade audio, large format visuals, and a fully integrated Teams experience.
This project strengthened RAAFA’s ability to run efficient meetings, deliver effective training, and support reliable hybrid communication. The modernised AV systems offer long term value, improved usability, and the flexibility needed for future growth.
