Best for: medium rooms, and fleets that want one standard.
The Rally Bar MTR bundle remains the room we deploy most: certified Android MTR on the bar itself (no PC to patch), genuine 15x optical reach, and a management story (Teams Admin Center + Logitech Sync) that IT teams actually like. The family scales cleanly — Huddle for small rooms, Mini mid-tier, Rally Plus for boardrooms — so a whole floor behaves identically. Boring, in the best possible way.
2. Shure IntelliMix Room Kit — the audio-first flagship
Best for: executive boardrooms and clear-table fit-outs.
New this cycle and already a favourite: Shure’s IntelliMix Room Kits build the entire certified MTR around reference ceiling audio — MXA902 arrays overhead, IntelliMix DSP running on the Windows MTR compute, touch panel on an otherwise empty table. If the room’s users are directors and the room’s designer hates clutter, this is the answer.
3. Cisco Room Bar Pro — the executive polish pick
Best for: medium rooms with high expectations, and Webex-curious estates.
Room Bar Pro runs MTR natively but brings Cisco’s dual-camera intelligence — one lens framing the room, the other cutting cinematically to whoever’s speaking. Add RoomOS’s occupancy and environment sensing and every room doubles as a workplace analytics node. You pay the Cisco premium; the executive floor tends to feel it was worth it.
4. Yealink MeetingBar A40 — the value engineering win
Best for: rolling out many small-to-medium rooms on a real budget.
Yealink’s A40 (and its siblings, the A25 and A50) deliver certified one-touch MTR with dual-camera AI framing at a price point that makes six rooms cost what four used to. The fit and finish won’t intimidate Cisco, but the meetings start on time and the fleet manages cleanly — which is the actual job.
5. Neat Bar Pro — the design-forward dark horse
Best for: rooms where the hardware is allowed to be seen.
Neat Bar Pro pairs genuinely elegant industrial design with some of the best auto-framing in the business and sensor smarts (air quality, occupancy) that facilities teams quietly love. In architect-led fit-outs where every visible object gets vetoed or blessed, Neat survives the vetting more often than anything else.
