Background

Multiplex partnered with FocusAV and Everett-Smith & Co. to deliver a full audio-visual installation across their new Perth office at Nine The Esplanade. The objective was to provide reliable, easy-to-use AV systems that support hybrid collaboration across multiple meeting spaces and a large boardroom.

Challenges

A project of this scale required careful coordination with Everett-Smith & Co. to align AV system design with broader office fit-out works. Each room type had specific requirements – from smaller meeting rooms where consistency and ease of use were key, to the larger boardroom needing advanced conferencing and presentation capabilities.

The Solution

FocusAV supplied and installed solutions designed to match the needs of each space:

Meeting Rooms
Fitted with Samsung Pro Displays with sizes ranging from 43” to 85”, Logitech Rally systems with Tap controllers, and Logitech scheduling panels ensuring staff can join Microsoft Teams meetings with a consistent experience across rooms.

Boardroom & Executive Spaces
Equipped with dual Samsung 85” Pro Displays, supported by Q-SYS cameras for high-quality video, and Q-SYS ceiling speakers for clear audio coverage. Control was centralised through Logitech Tap interfaces and Lenovo Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) systems.

Mounting & Integration
Displays were securely installed using Slim Pop-Out Wall Mounts, allowing a clean finish with serviceability in mind.

Results

Multiplex’s new office now features a consistent AV environment across every space. Staff benefit from intuitive meeting room systems that are familiar and simple to operate, while the boardroom provides the capacity for larger, more complex hybrid meetings.
