How does an MTR work?A Microsoft Teams Room typically consists of a small form factor computer, camera, microphone, and display. The computer is set up in a meeting room, and connected to the internet and the Microsoft Teams service. Users can join a meeting on a Microsoft Teams Room by walking into the room and tapping the join button on the device. The device automatically connects to the scheduled meeting, and users can start collaborating with others in the meeting.
What are the differences between the two MTR Licenses?Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro offers advanced features like intelligent audio and video, remote device management, and dual screen support, making it ideal for medium to enterprise organizations with more advanced needs. Teams Rooms Basic is a free license and provides core meeting experiences to organizations that purchase a certified Teams Rooms system, at no additional cost.
The difference between Android and Windows MTRMicrosoft Teams Rooms on Android (MTRoA) is a "lite" version of the MTR software with streamlined features and functionality. It offers many of the same features as the desktop version however, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows (MTRoW) has more extensive customization options available that allow users to better tailor the experience to their needs.
