Something else
No category? Our favourite brief.
Interactive exhibits, command vehicles, immersive spaces, the idea your last integrator said no to — if it involves screens, sound or control, we'll engineer it.
Bring us the weird one
If it has a screen or a speaker, it's ours.
Every interesting project we've delivered started as somebody's "this probably isn't your thing, but…". A buzzer system for a game show. A bunker. A youth entertainment space. Interactive walls, museum exhibits, broadcast corners in corporate offices.
The truth about specialist AV: the fundamentals don't change. Signal in, experience out — designed, engineered, installed and supported by people who sweat the details.
So if you've scrolled the services list and nothing quite fits, that's not a dead end. It's usually the start of our favourite kind of job.
The uncategorisable
Weird briefs get our best work.
Some projects don't fit a services menu: a museum interactive, a golf simulator bar, a mobile command vehicle, a broadcast studio in a school. They're one-of-one builds — which is exactly when experience across every category matters most.
Because Focus AV spans collaboration, LED, audio, control, IPTV and acoustics, we can pull the right pieces from each discipline and engineer them into something that doesn't exist yet — then document and support it like a product.
Recent one-offs include immersive golf entertainment, museum AV integration and media studios. Bring us the sketch on the napkin.
First, the map
Check the closest category first.
Most 'uncategorisable' projects turn out to be eighty per cent a service we already run every day, plus twenty per cent invention. Scan the list — if something's close, start there. If nothing fits, that's precisely what this page is for.
From the field The people who say yes to the weird one.
No stock photography on this page either — this is us, on sites and at the workshop.
What we deliver
How one-offs get done well.
Feasibility & concept
We pressure-test the idea early: what's buildable, what it costs, where the risks hide.
System engineering
Signal flow, control logic and equipment selection designed from first principles — not forced into a template.
Prototype & prove
For the truly novel, we bench-build the risky part first. Surprises belong in the workshop, not on site.
Build & integrate
Delivered by the same team that does our stadium and boardroom work — one-offs get production discipline.
Document like a product
As-builts, operation guides and training, so the one-of-one isn't a one-person mystery.
Support it forever
Focus Care extends to custom builds — it's ours to keep working.
Proof
Delivered. Documented.
The whole room
One design. One schedule. One accountable partner.
Straight answers.
Will you tell us if the idea won't work?
Yes — early and with reasons. Feasibility first is how one-off projects stay fun: we'd rather redesign on paper than on site, and we'll always offer the version that will work.
How do you price something with no precedent?
Concept and feasibility first as a small fixed engagement; that produces a real design and a real number for the build. No one should sign a blank cheque for novelty — including us.
Can you work with our architect, builder or exhibit designer?
That's the normal shape of these projects — we slot into the design team, own the technology scope, and coordinate our interfaces with the other trades and disciplines so nothing lands in the gaps.
What's the strangest thing you'd take on?
Try us. If it needs pixels, decibels or automation to exist, it qualifies — and if we're genuinely not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere honest.
Got the napkin sketch? Bring it in.
Thirty minutes with our engineers turns 'is this possible?' into a plan — or a better idea.
